Bar Dvir Rahamim (Born 1987) lives and works in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. BFA and MFA graduate from Bezalel (2012, 2019). Held solo exhibitions at Pragovka gallery, Prague (2021), where she also took part in the gallery's residency program; Hansen House, Jerusalem (2020); Mazeh 9, Tel Aviv (2016). Participated in group exhibitions in Israel and abroad, including exhibitions at the Petach Tikva Museum (2019), Circle1 Gallery, Berlin (2017), among others.
Dvir Rahamim’s oil-on-canvas works live on the range between painting, sculpture and painting installation, emerging from the walls or the floor. The core of her work is a continuous dialogue between artist, space and painting. She perceives all three as living organisms that are constantly transforming, peeling and rotting, falling apart only to come together again.
